There is a lot going on in Homeroom this Friday, Nov. 8th. All students will receive their report card and they will bring these home to give parents an update on their current grades. Final grades will be earned in December before students leave for the holiday break so there is still time to improve grades in a course if needed. Students will also have the opportunity to preview their spring semester course requests to make sure they have requested the correct courses. Juniors will receive a graduation status report so that they can make sure they have the courses they need to stay on track for graduation.
Students will also be taught a lesson with important information during Homeroom this Friday. 9th grade students will get a lesson on conflict resolution taught by the CHS Peer Mediators. Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades will get a lesson on understanding the HOPE Scholarship Program and accessing their HOPE GPA. These lessons have been posted to this website on the grade level pages. Seniors will also be completing a Graduation Information Form to check the correct spelling of their name for the diploma order and to indicate their intentions for the graduation ceremony in May.
