The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Georgia Tech is hosting an outreach program for high school girls who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math on Saturday, November 8 from 9 AM - 2 PM in the Georgia Tech Van Leer building. Space is limited to 100 girls on a first-come, first-serve basis, and registration will close once all open spots have been filled. Through this event, high school girls will be encouraged to pursue an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on activities. They will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with current female engineering students. See the attached flyer for more information and the link for registration. If you have any questions, you can email us at [email protected].

There are all kinds of opportunities for students happening in the School Counseling office at CHS this time of year. We encourage students to stop by the counseling office on a weekly basis to check out the information in our lobby. We post college visits on a weekly basis and juniors and seniors can sign up for these. We post leadership opportunities and job opportunities in our lobby as well.
Also, students and parents are encouraged to read the CHS Daily Announcements because opportunities for students are included in these announcements on a daily basis. Catch up on the CHS Daily Announcements by clicking here. All students are encouraged to learn more and apply for Junior Achievement Fellows. Find out more at the JA Fellows website by clicking here.
