The Youth Summit on Hunger & Poverty is coming up. We are looking for students who: will be in the 9th through 12th grade in 2015-16, have an interest in hunger/poverty issues, are committed to service and are interested in taking action within their own community. As a part of the Youth Summit on Hunger & Poverty, students will:
We are offering 2 sessions, and will accept 20 students per session. The sessions are: 1- Monday - Friday, June 8 - 12 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 2- Monday - Friday, July 6 - 10 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Participants MUST be available for the entire 5-day program in order to be eligible. (There are no fees or costs for participants.)

On Thursday, March 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, CHS will host a College Credit Now Summit. Representatives from Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Perimeter College, Georgia Highlands College, and Georgia State University will be here to discuss opportunities to earn college credit during high school. All 9th, 10th and 11th grade students are encouraged to attend this Summit.
Students looking for leadership experience and a way to give back to our community are encouraged to attend the Cobb Alcohol Taskforce Youth Summit on Saturday, Feb. 28th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. See the attached flyer for more information about how to register for this event.
